When you are away during the day, your dog is home with a lot of expendable energy. Your dog may be trained to remain indoors for the duration of the workday, but that does not mean they are happy with this arrangement. SimplyPetz will provide your dog the playtime and exercise that they need. Our dog walkers develop a personal relationship with your pets, giving them lots of love and personal attention during their visits. We will be happy to adhere to your pet’s normal routine. We will remove any waste from your dog during our visit. A full progress report of our walk will be left for you.

Rates are for 1 dog per visit. Each additional dog is $2. Visits are conducted Monday through Friday, between 8:00 A.M. and 8:00 P.M., excluding holidays.
Our cat sitters are experienced with many feline types and temperaments. We will learn and adjust to their specific characteristics. Visits will include fresh water and food for kitty, scooping the litter box and checking on them to make sure they are happy. We will also leave a full report to let you know whether kitty was naughty or nice.

Paws Full Litter Box Cleaning – We will do a full scrub down of the litter box, dry it and add fresh litter. You provide the cleaning supplies.

Our bird sitters know that not all birds are the same. While some are friendly and like handling, others are just fun to watch and “talk” with. We will adjust our services to accommodate the unique personality of your feathered friend. A personal note about the visit will be left for you.

Contractual visits are offered for a three consecutive month period. Visits are conducted between 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Visits scheduled on the following holiday: New Years Day (Jan1), Martin Luther King Jr B-day (Jan19-Jan 21), President’s Day (Feb16-Feb.18) Easter, Memorial Day Weekend (May 24-May 26, Independence Day Weekend (July4-July6), Labor Day Weekend (Aug 30-Sept 1), Columbus Day Weekend (Oct.11-Oct13), Veterans Day (Nov11), Thanksgiving (Nov27), and Christmas (Dec 25) will incur an additional charge of $20 per visit.
Should a holiday fall on a weekend, the holiday rate will apply.
Complimentary Services
We offer complimentary indoor plant watering and retrieving mail and/or newspaper with our 30 minute and 45 minute visits. Plant watering is offered to a maximum of three pots. Additional plant watering or outdoor plant watering can be arranged for an additional fee. We will also feed your fish for no additional charge, if requested.
While you are away for a day out of town or for the weekend, SimplyPetz strongly believe pets that remain in the comfort of familiar surroundings are happier, healthier pets. Their home is their sanctuary, and some animals simply get nervous when boarded at a kennel. At SimplyPetz, our animal and loving staff member can alleviate that nervousness, while guaranteeing that your loved one gets the food, medicine, and attention that they’re used to throughout the day.
We offer overnight visits seven days a week, holidays and weekends too (additional charges will apply).
Caring for your pet at each visit include an evening walk and feeding, staying overnight, and a morning walk and feeding. We will collect newspapers, check mail, and water plants.
Hours start from 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
An additional mid-day walk is recommended for dogs.

Your loved ones need a ride to the vet, groomer, or other destination? We offer an excellent pet taxi service within the Washington Metropolitan area. Our pet taxi services are secure, dependable, and insured at impeccable rates.
Paws First 6 miles - $15

If your pet needs medications or supplements (liquid or pill form) added to food, we are happy to help free of charge.
If you can only provide one set of keys at the time of consultation and would like an additional set to be kept at our office for emergencies, we can provide a duplicate copy for a service charge of $10 for 1 key. If the key requires a special duplication, you will be charged for the cost of the key plus the $10 service fee. If you prefer, our staff members can pick up the key for a service fee of $10.
We will provide cleanup from pet accidents or destructive behavior free of charge for two occurrences per calendar month (requiring less than five minutes of cleanup time). If we feel the cleanup time will be longer than five minutes, we will contact you to discuss charges and authorization.
SimplyPetz will need 48 hours notice of any cancellation or any new scheduled dog walks. A one-time fee of $15 will be applied for any notice less than 48 hours.
There will be a $15.00 fee should any scheduled visits are cancelled less than 48 hours notice.
We will come to your home to meet with you and your pets to obtain detailed information regarding your pet(s) needs. We will clarify all your needs, expectations, and agree on terms, conditions, and guidelines of services. Please be prepared to provide vet information, emergency contacts, special requests, and requirements. We ask that you provide two sets of house keys at the time of consultation. One set will be retained by your pet sitter and one will be held securely in our possession at our office. A typical consultation lasts 20 minutes or less.
